We are continuously evaluating manufacturers, mills and trim suppliers — and we are direct about what we require.
We work with export-oriented apparel manufacturers, fabric mills, laundries and trim suppliers who specialise rather than claim to do everything.
The suppliers who succeed in our network share three characteristics: genuine technical capability in a defined product area, a functioning internal merchandising and quality team, and a management that treats compliance findings as problems to fix rather than paperwork to manage.
We place long-term, repeat business with a relatively small number of partners. We are not looking for a large list of names.

Proven capability in a specific category with the machinery and technical team to support it.
Current social and safety audit (BSCI, SMETA, WRAP or equivalent) with corrective actions being actively closed.
Your own merchandising and quality teams — not reliance on the buyer’s follow-up to run the order.
Full declaration of any subcontracted process. Undeclared subcontracting ends the relationship immediately.
The financial capacity to fund materials and operate without cash-flow-driven delays.
Responsive, accurate reporting — including when the news is bad.
We assess your profile against current and anticipated buyer requirements. If there is no fit today, we keep the details on file rather than pursuing an evaluation that would waste your time.
Machine list, capacity statement, buyer references, audit reports, certifications and factory profile.
A visit covering production capability, quality systems, working conditions, safety and management practice.
A sample or trial order to prove quality, communication and adherence to dates on real product before bulk is placed.
Commercial terms agreed, documentation completed, and the supplier added to the network for matched programmes.
Performance reviewed programme by programme on quality, delivery, responsiveness and compliance.
Please complete as much as you can. Applications with a clear product specialisation, verified capacity and current audit status are prioritised.
Apparel factories in denim, woven, knit, sweater, outerwear and activewear.
Knit, woven and denim mills, including dye houses and finishing units.
Wash and finishing facilities, particularly those with ozone and laser capability.
Labels, threads, zips, buttons, interlinings, elastics and packaging.
We would rather work with twenty suppliers we know completely than two hundred we know by profile sheet.CrestTex Sourcing Team
