Our Denim Capability

Built Around Wash and Fit, Not Just Sewing

Denim is a specialist category. The fabric behaves differently before and after wash, the fit changes with shrinkage, and the finish is created in a laundry rather than on a sewing line.

We work with denim factories that have proven wash partnerships and the technical merchandising to manage shrinkage, skew, torque and shade consistency across a bulk run.

Programmes range from clean rigid and raw finishes through to heavily processed vintage looks with hand sanding, whiskering, destruction and repair.

Where Denim Programmes Are Won or Lost

Shrinkage & Skew

Wash shrinkage and torque measured on bulk fabric and built into pattern before cutting, not discovered after.

Shade Consistency

Wash lots controlled with shade bands and lot-wise approval so cartons do not arrive mismatched.

Fit After Wash

Fit approved on washed garments, because measurements before wash tell you very little.

Hardware & Finish

Rivets, buttons and zips tested for corrosion and attachment strength after the full wash cycle.
