Lightweight chambray through to heavier shirt-weight denim, where the garment has to read as shirting and still take a denim wash.
A denim shirt is judged by shirting standards - collar roll, placket straightness, cuff and yoke symmetry - and then put through a wash process designed for much heavier garments. The two sets of expectations pull against each other.
We place these with factories that run both: shirting-grade making and finishing, and the wash control to take a light fabric through enzyme or rinse without losing the collar. Measurements are approved on washed garments, because pre-wash figures tell you almost nothing here.

Wash shrinkage and torque measured on bulk fabric and built into pattern before cutting, not discovered after.
Wash lots controlled with shade bands and lot-wise approval so cartons do not arrive mismatched.
Fit approved on washed garments, because measurements before wash tell you very little.
Rivets, buttons and zips tested for corrosion and attachment strength after the full wash cycle.
Send a reference garment or a tech pack and we will come back with the factory, the fabric route and a costing.
