Waterproof and water-resistant shells, softshells, parkas and three-in-one systems, where a performance claim on the label has to be backed by a test report.
Waterproofing is where technical outerwear is most often oversold. A coated fabric is not a waterproof garment: seams, zips, storm flaps and the DWR finish all have to work together, and only a finished-garment test shows whether they do.
We set the performance target first, specify taping or welding to match it, and test the made-up garment - hydrostatic head, spray rating and seam integrity - so what the swing ticket claims is what the customer gets in the rain.

Hydrostatic head and spray-rating testing on bulk fabric and on finished, seam-sealed garments.
Down and wadding weights verified per panel, with fill power tested and certification confirmed.
Elastane performance tested after repeated wash cycles, not only on first-sample fabric.
Seam sealing, bonding and welding checked for adhesion and durability after wash and wear testing.
Send a reference garment or a tech pack and we will come back with the factory, the fabric route and a costing.
